The Pines Campground
The Pines is a rustic campground in a wooded setting in northern Craig County. It is adjacent to Barbours Creek, a stocked trout stream.
There are 17 campsites designed for tents but recreational vehicles up to 6 feet can be accommodated. There are no electric hookups.
The area is open from April 1 to December 7.

From I-81: Take State Route 419 north to State Route 311. Travel north for 20 miles. One mile past the town of New Castle, turn right on State Route 611. Follow SR 61 for 5 miles and turn left on State Route 617. travel 5.5 miles to the campground entrance on the left.
Driving distance from I-81 is about 32 miles. Estimated driving time 45 minutes.
From Covington: Take State Route 18 to State Route 615. Turn left and follow to State Route 617. Campground is on the right.
