Very remote, no water, toilet is an outhouse, electricty, no cell service. great campground, you have access to trails for hiking, biking, great base camp for ATV/UTV/Dirt bike riding, the creek runs right through the camp and the water is real cold year round, good trout fishing, and Deerfeild lake is just about 2 miles up the road. want a great lunch go to the Surgar Shack, or Rochford about 11 miles away best burgers in the hills. Hill City has supplies, gas, propane, and some great resteraunts like the Alpine Inn. Mt Rushmore, and Crazy House are within 25 miles of this site. Lead/Deadwood are about 35 miles away and you can ATV/UTV/Dirt Bike trails all the way. You can get to Hill City the same way but will end up on roads for some of it. great trail sites within a short distance, old rail bed from the mining days, some old mines in the area. If you want to enjoy the outdoors and hike bike atv utv dirt bike, fish or just relax away from the cell phones and computers and the hussel bussel of the world this is your new home. have fun
