A small rustic campground located 4 miles south of Georgetown along the Guanella Pass Road. Clear Lake is a first-come, first-served campground. Reservations are not accepted. There are 8 sites available, all are suitable for small camper trailers and tents. Facilities provided include restrooms, and water. Each site contains a tent pad, fire grate, and picnic table. Update:The Guanella Pass road is under construction and will be closed Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The road will also be closed Sunday through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Travelers may also experience delays up to 30 minutes. Information about the project can be found on the Clear Creek County website.

Burning Bear Campground is off Guanella Pass Road north of the town of Grant. A beautiful area, this campground is nestled in a valley with beautiful views. Burning bear campground has 14 campsites to accommodate either tents or recreational vehicles. Parking spurs are 16-30 feet in length. Water availability can be questionable due to weather and ground water level. Please plan on bringing drinking water when utilizing these sites. Parking available for 2 vehicles per site. Excess parking would be off the road at the Abyss trailhead.
