This hike starts off at Little Pine State Park, day parking area. It is a combination of park trails that forms a loop. Midstate trail is a fairly moderate-strenuous hike do to the lack of switchbacks. For the most part it is a wooded hike with vary few overlooks. It starts at the day use parking area that is open from sunrise to sunset. The park is fairly large offering a range of activities, with a nearby local restaurant. The winter season sees little activity, likewise, the restrooms are closed during the winter season. There is a section of the trail that requires some walking along the road. I'd recommend bringing your hiking poles on this hike. The rest of the trail is primarily wooded with very few overlooks, one at best, though its slightly overgrown. There are some rock formations, a cottage, lake, and dam to view along the way. It's worth at least one visit.
Follow the way-point.
