Roanoke County's Happy Hollow Gardens features a beautiful hike through a wooded landscape. During the months of April through May, visit Happy Hollow to see one of the region's best floral displays and large Azelea garden.
Take Route 221 South towards Bent Mountain. When you pass Back Creek Grill on your right, go approximately 1 mile and turn right onto Mount Chestnut Road (Rt. 692). Go 2 miles to the top of the mountain. Park entrance is on the left.
