Follow Trail #510 from the parking area and past the overlooks. The trail turns left and goes around the base of the cliffline to Gulf Fork then follows on old Forest Service road crossing a ford. Be sure to follow trail signs. The trail will leave the road and follow Spruce Creek then turn up a steep hill. The trail will connect back with Trail #510 and lead you back to the arch. Follow Trail #510 back to the parking lot. Give yourself plenty of time to do the complete trail. Estimate four hours for the average hiker.
Take US 27 south from Somerset for 21 miles, turn west on KY 927, and follow the signs for 2 miles.
From Whitley City, go north 5 miles.
