The Beaver Brook Trail is a segment of the Appalachian Trail that leads to Mt. Moosilauke. The parking lot costs $3 per day and is open year round. From the parking lot, walk past the pay box and go left (south). The first half of the trail is very steep and follows a series of cascades. Try to hike during dry weather, as the steep sections can be hazardous when muddy. The trail can also get icy during the winter and crampons or aggressive snowshoes are recommended. For multi-day hikers, a primitive camp site is available at Beaver Brook Shelter about 2 miles in.
From I-93, take exit 32. Follow Route 112 west. Go about 7 miles and look for a parking are on the left.
