This trail leaves the Middle Fork of the Payette River and heads west until it reaches the Bear Wallow Trail. This is an ideal trail for a short day hike with unusual granite formations and wonderful views of the east side of the Middle Fork.
From Crouch, head north on NF-698 for approximately 10.9 miles then take a left on NF-698L3. The trailhead is approximately 0.4 mile and located on the right.
