It heads north from the Bull Creek Trail to the ridge between Bull Creek and Sixteen-to-One Creek, then down to National Forest Road 474 (NF-474).
The simplest access to the trail is from the Silver Creek area using the Silver Creek Summit Trail. Take the NF-698 from Crouch approximately 15.0 miles to its junction with NF-671. Take the Silver Creek Summit Trail approximately 6.0 miles to its junction with the Bull Creek Trail, then north 0.3 mile to the trailhead located on the left.
