Trail Map |
This trail is maintained on a annual basis. Leaving the road, the trail switches back and forth through a virgin stand of undisturbed Douglas-fir, hemlock, and Port-Orford cedar trees. The trail ends at Coquille River Falls. When arriving at the falls, care should be taken, since the trail is steep and almost always wet. Footing is very insecure when descending to the river.
From Powers, OR, go south on County road 219 to Forest Service road 33, continue to Forest Service road 3348, travel 1.6 miles up road 3348 to trailhead.
