Typical circuit starts at Deadman's Hill, off US-131 N. of Alba. 9 miles to Pinney Bridge State Forest Campgound. Day 2, hike back to Deadman's Hill via Landslide overlook (9 miles). Trout Stream, Beaver Ponds, Scenic Vistas.
The 4600-mile NCT crosses the 45th parallel only once--in the Jordan Valley.
