Gene Marshall Piedra Blanca Trail runs from the end of Rosa Valley road to Reyes Creek Camp Ground. Awesome views and old growth forest (old for Ventura County.) One of the best hikes around although this hike is not for the week, there is quite a bit of elevation gain.
From Ventura or Ojai take hwy 33 North and turn left on Rosa Valley road. Travel to the end of the road and use the parking area. A forest service Adventure Pass tax is required. Take the Sespe trail then take the middle Sespe trail to the left at the junction. At the next trail junction is where Gene Marshall Piedra Blanca Trail starts and there is currently a sign marking the trail. Hike on
