This area was burned in the Station fire several years ago so, the vegatation is mostly low brush and grass. This is part of the Pacific Crest Trail and heads toward Mount Gleason (Gleason is about 11 miles one way). As such there really isn't a destination on this hike. Just hike the distance you are comfortable with and enjoy the mountain views. Perfect trail for Winter and Spring.
About 6 mile west of Acton on Soledad Canyon Road. Just west of the KOA camp. There is a parking area 100 yard up the Indian Canyon Road.
