Follow the trail to the white blazed Appalachian Trail for about 1.5 miles. You will reach a campsite where the spur trail connects with the AT. Take a right onto the white blazed AT. Soon afterwards views will start to open up on your right. After climbing up on some rocks you will reach the top. Take a left and leave the AT to get to Dragon's Tooth. Enjoy the beautiful views from there!
Take I-81 to Exit 140.
Take VA 311 towards Catawba.
You will pass the McAfee trail head, the Homeplace Restaurant and finally a gas station on your left.
Shortly after look for the Dragon's Tooth trail head sign. The parking lot entrance is on your left.
