The Adirondack Mountain Club's Wilderness Campground is located adjacent to the Adirondak Loj, situated at the base of the Adirondack High Peaks just south of Lake Placid, New York, five miles off Route 73 on the Adirondak Loj Road. In addition to campsites, you can enjoy the rustic simplicity of an Adirondack lean-to, or all the comforts of home in the Wiezel Trails Cabin or the Campground Cabin. Also available are canvas cabins--cozy, walled tents on wooden platforms--accommodating six people in three bunk beds with mattresses.
