This is an easy to moderate hike down to a beautiful alpine lake. There are excellent views of the lake from the road before you get to the trailhead. There is primitive camping at the lake. The lake has easy shore access for fishing. While it is 1 mile to the lake, the trail circles the lake for a total hike of about 3 miles. Part way around the lake is a nice little waterfall.
