First, drive to the Office Of Tourism in the town of Crozon, Brittany, France to pickup a trail map: L"Anse de Saint-Nicolas - PR13.

Follow the yellow horizontal blazes. Watch out for the yellow "X", which mark that you are going the wrong way or should not follow that path.

TIP: Bring swimwear if you want to cool off in the ocean!

From the trailhead parking lot at the "Maison Des Mineraux" follow the yellow blazed trail back to the "Route De Crozon". Take a right and follow it for 100 meters. Take another right onto the the grassy road when the paved road turns left. Then, take a right when you reach the gravel/dirt road. Shortly thereafter, take a left towards GR 34 - "Sentier Cotier". Within minutes you will reach the shoreline at the top of the cliffs and you will be greeted by amazing views.

To continue the hike, take a right onto GR 34 towards "L'ile Vierge" and follow the white and red blazes. You will start seeing two secluded beaches. It is possible to reach the secluded beaches by following the steep trails down the cliffs. This is the only "easy" water access on this hike.

Continue along the coast following the white and red blazes and past the "Pointe de Rostudel" and "Pointe Du Dolmen". Make sure to stay close to the shoreline at the top of the cliffs and avoid being side tracked by the many side trails. On your way to the "Cap de la Chevre" you will cross 1 concrete pond that was used to wash clothes before the villages got running water and electricity.

Pass the first trail intersection to the village of Rostudel and continue down the trail. Soon, you will cross another concrete pond and a second intersection to the village of Rostudel. Take a right onto this now yellow balzed trail. Follow the trail to the top of the cliffs and through the fern fields to the village of Rostudel.

On this part of the hike, you will cross old and scenic villages of Brittany. Make sure to look for the horizontal yellow blazes and avoid following paths marked by a yellow "X".

Once you hiked through Rostudel, you will cross the main paved road (D 255) on your way to the next village. Hike through the villages of Kergonan, Kerroux, and Menesguen. Cross the paved road (D 255) again and make your way through Saint-Norgard. To close the loop, watch for a left turn towards Saint-Hernot. Take the gravel road back to the trailhead.
