This trail takes you through maritime forest for 0.75 mile and ends in marsh habitat along Currituck Sound. Round trip is 1.5 miles and takes approximately 1 hour following the blue trail posts. To protect natural features, please stay on the trail and do not pick vegetation. Beware of ticks, chiggers, snakes, mosquitoes, and wet areas. Carry out all trash. To prevent fire hazard, no smoking is allowed.
