A short hike through some woods to a rocky outcropping over a bend in the New River.

Park in the cul-du-sac at the end of the road. The trail is at the far side, follow the trail up around to the overlook. you can also climb down tot a lower rock to get a better view.

Take 460 into Pembroke turn onto castle rock Dr.

Turn left to stay on Castle Rock Dr.

Drive to the end just before the parking lot turn left onto horseshoe farm Rd.

Follow this past some houses to the cul- de-sac at the end. park there the trail is at the far side.
