Fairly easy yet scenic trail parallels the Blue Ridge Parkway spur and passes around the Chestnut Ridge Campground. Several connector trails allow the length of the hike to be shortened. Location is near Mill Mountain & Roanoke Mountain so the hike can be combined with visiting either of these two attractions.
