A quick quarter mile up the hill and you reach a rocky outcropping with nice views of the valley. Great place to catch the sunset.

From US 460 turn onto Mountain lake Rd, follow the road past the hotel. The road will become gravel and fork, keep to the left. Wind rock will be the second parking lot area.
