The trail leaves from the end of Road #7430 and follows the ridge to Clearwest Peak, elevation 5644 feet and site of an old lookout. From the lookout site is a beautiful view of Mt. Rainier and the surrounding country. This trail is in the Clearwater Wilderness. All wilderness regulations apply.
