From Paint Bank, VA turn off of route 311 onto county route 600 and proceed 11 miles to Waiteville, WV. Turn right onto Gap Mills Road ( county route 15 ) and go 4 miles. On the left you'll see a sign that reads "National Forest, Allegheny Trail Parking" with an arrow. Take the left
into the gravel parking lot.
