From Harrisonburg, travel south on State Route (SR) 42 for 9.2 miles, passing through the town of Bridgewater. Just south of Bridgewater, turn right onto SR 727. Travel 7.3 miles to intersection with SR 730. Turn left and follow SR 730 for 6.2 miles. Then turn right onto SR 718 for about 1.0 mile. Turn left onto Forest Development Road (FDR) 95 and travel 3.1 miles to the Todd lake Recreation Area entrance on your right. Trimble Mountain Trail is located across the road near the entrance to the campground.
