Lower trail is VERY icy...not snow but straight ice and very difficult to navigate. Upper trail clear of ice and snow. Falls were very pretty but not frozen.

Did this 10 days ago with the family. There is some trail work being done just before you get to the falls, but there is a clearly marked alternate route. Only about .3 miles. Barney's Wall is a must see if you have time.
